We would like to invite you to join us on the ‘South Africa Virtual Roadshow’; a free webinar series which will explore why it's never been more important for South African businesses and individuals to choose the right jurisdiction for long term financial planning; focusing on the Isle of Man as the jurisdiction of choice.

The series hosted by Finance Isle of Man, an Executive Agency of the Isle of Man Government's Department for Enterprise, will cover topics such as:

  • Risk, regulatory reputation, economic stability, cost, and substance & political stability
  • Succession planning
  • Family office
  • Asset protection
  • Establishing business structures
  • Wealth management
  • Relocation

The Finance Isle of Man Agency will be joined by several industry members, specialising in the South African marketplace, including Maitland Isle of Man, Peregrine Corporate Services and Turnstone Isle of Man.

We are delighted that Peregrine director, Basil Bielich, has been invited to join the panel with his extensive experience in trust and company structures. South African born, Basil has lived on the Isle of Man since the early 1990's and has enjoyed travelling back to South Africa for business and pleasure ever since. We have a collection of South African based clients who Basil visits regularly (although of course, 2020 has been an exception) to ensure their needs are being met.

"I'm really pleased to have been asked to be part of the Isle of Man Government's South Africa virtual Roadshow," said Basil. "We have done a few of our own Roadshow trips to South Africa which have been successful to date. I'm looking forward to chatting with the other panellists and I hope we will talk about lots of topical things to get the audience thinking about the Isle of Man as the jurisdiction of choice."
